Vertigo are a jazz-rock band known for their high-energy live shows, blending rich jazz harmonies with tight grooves and funky guitar work. Formed in 2018, the band have built a strong live reputation, including a sold-out show at O2 Academy Islington (Academy 2), appearances at Tattershall Castle, and regular performances at The Horn in St Albans.
Their songs combine sophisticated harmony with funk-driven rhythms and sharp observations of modern British life, in a tradition reminiscent of Ray Davies. Sonically influenced by artists such as Jamiroquai and Steely Dan, Vertigo returned in 2026 after an extended hiatus with a revitalised lineup and a set largely built around new material.
